This site has no analytics and no cookies. The app has no account and no analytics. Below is everything that leaves your browser or your Mac, and why.
This website
- No analytics, no tracking and no cookies.
- No third-party scripts or fonts: every file comes from this site.
- Nothing is stored in your browser: no cookies and no local storage.
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare handles the technical details your browser sends to load a page, such as your IP address, to deliver it and keep it secure.
The app
Alkit has no account, no analytics and no crash reporting. What it shows you, from your apps and files to your clipboard history, windows and battery readings, is read and kept on your Mac. It goes online only for these:
- Currency rates. When you convert a currency, Alkit fetches exchange rates from the Frankfurter API (api.frankfurter.dev, or api.frankfurter.app as a fallback). The request names a currency and nothing about you.
- Quicklink icons. For a Quicklink you have set up, Alkit fetches that site's icon once (its /favicon.ico) and keeps it on your Mac.
- Updates. Alkit checks its update feed at dl.omaralex.dev for a new version and downloads updates from there. The request names the app and its version, and nothing about you.
- Your license. When you activate Alkit, and now and then afterwards to check the license is still valid, Alkit sends your license key and a device name to Dodo Payments.
Like any connection, these requests reveal your IP address to the server that answers them. Quicklinks and web searches open in your browser, where the site you open has its own policy.
Buying
Dodo Payments processes your payment under its own privacy policy, and I never see your card details. Dodo Payments shares with me what I need to provide your license and help you, such as your name, email address and order, and I use it for nothing else.

Omar Alexandro Espinosa Fernandez is responsible for this policy. To ask what I hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, write to [email protected]. Records that tax law requires Dodo Payments to keep stay with Dodo Payments.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
